HEADSTRONG went looking for kiwi cine-mavericks wanting to break down every barrier to tell their unique stories. And we're here to support them 100% of the way.
HEADSTRONG opened the call for feature film scripts in 2005 to develop and produce. This call was open to individual writers, directors or producers.
HEADSTRONG has a passion and belief in all areas of cinema. We believe that some of New Zealand's brightest future filmmaking talents will have their beginnings with HEADSTRONG.
HEADSTRONG is to provide a framework for the production of strong, innovative and entertaining cinema. The scripts for these films will have to be challenging, fearless, hilarious, dangerous, but most of all, they will have to be highly original to make any long term impact.
