For first timers the 48SECONDS allows you to have a good practice making sure your camera-computer-export pipeline is all working well. Without the added stress of a countdown clock.
If you don't know what 48SECONDS is then check out :

I'm not judging the 48SECONDS this year but I would love to see someone do a scene from the THE HAPPENING.
Basically the youtube scene or the hissy fit scene or the kids on the porch scene would make me very happy.

Wait, so I can enter as many different scenes as I want?
And also, winner gets to use the V Monster Truck. Do you have to be in a certain town to be able to use that?

yes as many as you like.
you get to use the V Tower they use at BDO.
For the ultimate in crane shots...

My team is planning on doing THE HAPPENING...we're gonna try and ape the most self-indulgent scene in the film. If that fails, we have a few ideas of other scenes to do.
That's right...we're bringing teh Wahlberg in ways you just can't fully understand.

Andrew - thats a contender for sure. Loved it. And amazing that no one had thought of it last year.

Cheers Ant - we were also surprised (and really happy) that nobody had thought of it before.
And yeah, his head was really cropped. I guess because there's not enough room onscreen for both Marky Mark's ego AND a 13-inch cock.

I think (hope!) if we're reading it right, the swearing may just rule it out of being on TV.
The CAB guidelines have some weird stuff though..."ass" is OK, but "arse" is unacceptable?

if you just did a bleep or muted the f-word i reckon it'd
still be a serious contender

Ours is on youtube, but I'm not 100% happy with it so I might see if I can pressure the editor into changing it. Then I'll put the link up.

Anyon who has seen IVAN MARX's LEGEND OF BIGFOOT film knows that TBALC nailed it. Unfortunately the chances of the judges knowing wha the hell it is are slim to none. A winner for trash fans though.

Apparently some went up without the T&C box ticked.
So they need to tick box when linking again.
An agency are in charge of the site.. I just had the idea so don't shoot the messenger ; )
I'm sure all will be aok very soon... remember to tick T&C box.

Legend of BigV had the same problem...the interface on the website wouldn't actually ALLOW me to tick the frickin' box! I could click it all I wanted, but it wouldn't do anything. Tried multiple browsers, no luck.
Apparently they're sorting it at their end.

Hey, so do they pick the winner based on viewer numbers or youtube ratings or what? Because we're still trying to get our other entry frantically edited *calls the editor to check the editing is actually frantically* but we would have less pageviews than the ones that'd been uploaded earlier.
steelpotato
Apr 30 2009, 06:35 PM
pageviews and youtube ratings have no influence on the decision. not sure if david farrier even comes on this forum (i'm guessing he does) but doubt robyn malcolm does; they are judging it this year rather than ant

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ip-UHwEVh8AI liked your Casino Voyale, maybe the vids push the limits of good taste for V. haha - they are always looking at the future generation, rather than the present one, in terms of marketing and brand placement. They've gotta get those tweens drinking V, get em young!
